Thank you to all those who have contributed to this consultation. These inputs have provided extremely valuable views and more importantly suggestions on how we could improve the local walking/cycling network. All comments have been logged and will be followed up with our local partners to explore opportunities to implement improvements wherever possible. Two areas that have received most comments are the general condition of the Ring Road Path and safety concerns about the A4175 Keynsham Rd shared path. Please be assured that both these issues are being actively pursued with the aim to deliver effective improvements and it is good to report that cut-back of vegetation has already taken place at both these locations, although it is fully recognised that more significant changes are needed to address the Keynsham Rd shared path safety concerns. News of further improvements at these and other locations will be posted on this news feed and on the Oldland Parish Council website.
As we are continuing to obtain valuable data and suggestions, together with establishing a communications network through this news feed, it has been decided to extend the deadline for comments to the end of Dec 2020. So please keep the comments coming and continue to spread the word about this consultation so we can obtain the most representative community view. Thank you.
